Welcome to the Higgins House Victorian Bed & Breakfast in Historic Sanford, Fl.  We invite you to experience the wonderful ambience of our 19th Century Queen Anne Victorian bed and breakfast, which has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Be our guest, enjoy our deliciously full breakfasts and afternoon hors d'ouvres, relax in the parlor and listen to an 1895 Edison cylinder phonograph, view 19th century Florida photographs on a stereopticon, and admire a full size 1905 Mueller carousel horse.  Our Victorian bed and breakfast boasts three guest rooms, each with a private bath.  The goose down comforters ensure a deep and peaceful sleep. 

Porch sitting has become a lost art almost everywhere, except here in Historic Sanford.  Our porch has an old fashioned swing and wicker chairs where you can wile away the afternoon and perhaps catch a glimpse of a wedding party in Centennial Park just across the street.

If you are wondering what attractions there are in the area, our Bed and Breakfast is located within an easy walking distance (4 blocks) of the downtown area.  We are centrally located between Orlando and Daytona Beach, and attractions include many fine restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, a Performing Arts Center, the Central Florida Zoo, the Rivership Romance, the Auto Train station and the Sanford-Orlando International Airport.  Other attractions, such as the Kennedy Space Center and Blue Springs State Park, are an easy drive from Sanford.
